{"id":1730,"date":"2013-02-24T21:44:45","date_gmt":"2013-02-24T21:44:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.systemsofromance.com\/blog\/?p=1730"},"modified":"2024-02-14T20:37:02","modified_gmt":"2024-02-14T20:37:02","slug":"opera-multi-steel-regret-qui-secaille-k7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.systemsofromance.com\/blog\/2013\/02\/opera-multi-steel-regret-qui-secaille-k7\/","title":{"rendered":"Opera Multi Steel- Regret Qui S&#8217;Ecaille K7"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While Opera Multi Steel are one of my favorite bands, I&#8217;ve never had the chance to feature them here, as most of their material has been reissued or posted elsewhere.\u00a0 However, I realized this particular cassette in 1987 hasn&#8217;t been ripped in the past, and aside from two tracks, does not appear on the otherwise excellent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.discogs.com\/Opera-Multi-Steel-K7-Tapes-Archives-MCMLXXXIII-MCMLXXXVII\/release\/1466861\">K7 Archives collection<\/a> issued by Vinyl on Demand in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>For those unfamiliar with Opera Multi Steel, the band was founded in 1983 in Bourges, France.\u00a0 Brothers Franck and Patrick Lopez joined Catherine Marie for their first 12&#8221; and debut LP, both essentials in the French coldwave\/minimal synth scene.\u00a0 They were one of the more prolific bands of the genre, and have released top shelf music constantly without splitting up or reuniting. \u00a0\u00a0 Two further members would join the band in 1987 and 1988 respectively, just after this tape was released.\u00a0 You can read a more detailed biography <a href=\"http:\/\/www.last.fm\/music\/Opera+Multi+Steel\/+wiki\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.systemsofromance.com\/blog\/2013\/02\/opera-multi-steel-regret-qui-secaille-k7\/r-793303-1317846712\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1731\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1731\" alt=\"R-793303-1317846712\" src=\"http:\/\/www.systemsofromance.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/R-793303-1317846712.jpg\" width=\"201\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Opera Multi Steel \u200e\u2013 <em>Regret Qui S&#8217;Ecaille<\/em> K7<br \/>\n1.
