{"id":6150,"date":"2024-11-12T23:58:21","date_gmt":"2024-11-12T23:58:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.systemsofromance.com\/blog\/?p=6150"},"modified":"2024-11-19T03:55:19","modified_gmt":"2024-11-19T03:55:19","slug":"missing-link-politicians-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.systemsofromance.com\/blog\/2024\/11\/missing-link-politicians-12\/","title":{"rendered":"Missing Link- Politicians 12&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Well, here&#8217;s a rather suitable 12&#8221; &#8211; three tracks of politically charged synth pop from 1985 that makes you want to dance &#8217;til the world ends&#8230; From the cold war all the way to today&#8217;s political climate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Missing Link were the French duo of Marc Dmitry (who also performed with The Game on their excellent LP <em>Under the White Bible Law<\/em>) and Patrick Levy (also a famous French House producer and a member of cold punk band <a href=\"https:\/\/www.systemsofromance.com\/blog\/2010\/07\/oberkampf-linda-7\/\">Oberkampf<\/a>,). This is their only release under this project name, though they would record again under the moniker FX 2000 in the mid-90s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fans of B-Movie, Jarvon Jol, Electric Theatre, and huge synth pop hooks with world weary edge and a little light guitar work should find much to love here.
